BUILDING A BETTER SHERBOURNE PRIMARY SCHOOL
Eltham State Labor MP Vicki Ward has announced $560,000 for upgrade works at Sherbourne Primary School.
The funding injection will pay for a new oval and associated works including paths to the oval, seating and landscaping.
This adds to more than $42.3m invested in building better schools in the Eltham electorate under the Andrews Labor Government over the past four years, including more than $6.2m for upgrades in the 2018/19 Victorian Budget for upgrades at St Helena Secondary College, Greenhills Primary School and Research Primary School.
The unprecedented school building boom over the past four years has delivered more than 1,200 school upgrades and 70 new school projects across the state, supporting more than 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
