Eltham Childcare Co-Operative - New Inclusive Play Area

Eltham Childcare Co-operative, established in 1986 is an outstanding community based, parent managed, not for profit long day care service. Located in the heart of the Eltham community, the service provides care for children from birth to six years of age with 77 places and 28 staff. The recent upgrade provides a more inclusive environment and welcoming outdoor space for children and families to use.

The project milestone was nearly $19,000, with $16,552 from the Andrews Government and the reminder funded by Nillumbik. Eltham Childcare Co-op has a beautiful natural feel, with wonderful community involvement. The new garden they have created, improving accessibility and inclusion is a lovely addition to their play area.
