Work Starts On Montomorency Secondary College Sports Staium
Students at Montmorency Secondary College are a step closer to getting the facilities they need for a great start in life, with an architect appointed to design the school’s exciting new sports stadium.
Member for Eltham, Vicki Ward today announced that Sean Godsell Architects has been appointed to design the school’s $16 million upgrade.
The upgrade will see the existing two court stadium expanded to a five court stadium.
The Andrews Labor Government has invested $5.6 billion to deliver more than 1,400 school upgrades, supporting over 5,000 construction jobs for Victorians.
With the strong growth in basketball – the Eltham Wildcats alone have over 5,000 players, new facilities are dearly needed.
Montmorency Secondary College has already had a $14 million rebuild and recently completed a refurbishment.
