Gearing up for St Helena’s Brand New State-of-the-art Gym
The Andrews Labor Government is making headway in the upgrade to sports facilities at St Helena Secondary College.
The $3.82 million project will provide students and the wider community with a competition grade gym before the end of the year.
The upgrade builds on an earlier $2.5 million investment which saw the school receive new FIFA-grade soccer facilities, along with athletics, tennis and netball facilities.
In other good news for St Helena Secondary College, planning works are progressing on the school’s new learning areas, science building and staff areas.
These outstanding new facilities aren’t just giving students the best possible start at life, the project offers an important opportunity for local builders and suppliers to do high-level works.
With local basketball facilities overflowing, the addition of a new gym at St Helena SC will be a great help in addressing this challenge.
Across Victoria, our school infrastructure projects are supporting local jobs and are another way the Andrews Labor Government are getting Victorians back to work.
