The students at Greenhills Primary School are a step closer to getter the facilities they deserve after Alchemy Construct Pty Ltd was appointed the builder for the $2.2 million works.

Funded through the National Partnerships Program, Yandell Preschool received $60,000 for this round of works on their outdoor facilities, and has been awarded $102,617 to do works in the near future on their indoor facilities

Member for Eltham, Vicki Ward MP today announced that as part of the State Government’s Living Heritage Program Monsalvat will receive $65,000 from the $3 million fund to do structural repairs to the roof, roof replacement and repairs to rainwater goods, as well as leadlight window repairs.

In June last year, Member for Eltham, Vicki Ward announced that the Andrews Government would provide $150,000 to refurbish the Eltham Guides Hall. This Sunday, with much anticipation by the local Girl Guide community, the newly refurbished hall was opened.

Eltham has a wonderful natural environment where pets are part of our way of life and thanks to the Andrews Government, our four legged friends will get a new park.

In the last budget, the State Government provided $5 million to create 16 new dog parks including one here in Eltham.

Community groups and councils are now able to apply for grants of up to $25,000 to support local crime prevention initiatives.

The whole Eltham community is going to benefit from a landmark grant of $3.4 million from the Andrews Government’s Shared Facilities Fund. These funds are going to deliver women’s friendly facilities that both the students at Eltham High can use along with other community groups.

Local schools will share in a $515 million in the single largest boost to school maintenance ever undertaken, thanks to an unprecedented investment by the Andrews Labor Government.

The investment will more than double funding for maintenance at Victoria’s state schools over the next two financial years, with more than $300 million to be invested in 2019/20 and $290 million in 2020/21.
